Vinecia Perkins, Founder, and Chief Executive Officer of Mae’s Eden, is an attorney and curator of natural, herbal hair and skin care products. Inspired by her grandmother, Shirley Mae Taylor’s battle with rheumatoid arthritis and congested heart failure, Vinecia created natural remedies to alleviate her pain and heal her sores.

Vinecia is a government regulatory litigator. She earned her B.A. in Economics and Political Science and graduated from The George Washington University Law School with high honors.

Prior to her legal career, Vinecia served as a community herbalist to her family, friends, and colleagues. From a young age, she made herbal remedies covering everything from hair loss and rashes to stomach pains, using the African American and Blackfoot Native cures she learned from her grandmother.

Vinecia’s mission is to redefine medicine by cultivating a community that embraces God’s natural remedies on the Earth to promote healing and wholeness.
